Google Analytics
Resilient Backup Lab uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate use of the site, including pages viewed, approximate referral source, device and browser characteristics, engagement and outbound-link interactions. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
The Google Analytics tag is not loaded until a visitor selects “Allow analytics.” Analytics storage is denied before that choice. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization remain denied. A visitor can reopen the choice panel from the footer and reject analytics later.
How the choice is stored
The site stores the analytics choice in the visitor’s browser under rbl_analytics_consent. When analytics is allowed, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga. Rejecting analytics stops further analytics storage and removes those cookies where the browser permits it.
Affiliate links
Some product links are affiliate links. The site measures whether an eligible outbound link was selected after analytics consent. The destination provider and affiliate network apply their own privacy and cookie terms after the visitor leaves this site. Rejecting analytics here does not control a destination website.
Operational logs
Cloudflare may process standard request and security data needed to deliver and protect the site. These logs are used for reliability, abuse prevention and incident investigation rather than advertising personalization.
Changes
This notice was last updated on 24 August 2026. It will be revised when the site adds a materially different analytics, advertising or data-collection purpose.
